Providence New American Kitchen is a full-service contemporary American restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients in the lower-level of the historic Hilton Hotel President in downtown Kansas City. Private dining spaces are available.
Opening October 11, 2012 Providence New American Kitchen offers a dining experience similar to an intimate Midwestern supper club with a concentrated homage to Americana, incorporating antique mirrors and light fixtures and handmade stained glass pieces. Based on the rich antiquity of the restaurant’s location, Providence New American Kitchen creates a warm atmosphere incorporating reclaimed wood and colorful art prints depicting the nation’s history.
Defining a place to gather on the outskirts of the Kansas City Power & Light District, Providence New American Kitchen offers beautifully crafted cuisine and cocktails with simple, fresh ingredients and attention to the comfort of Midwestern flavors. Created by Executive Chef Eric Carter, the menu highlights steaks and chops, fresh seafood, soups, and salads. Apple Wood Smoked Meatloaf and Barbecue Glaze Pork Belly are seen on the menu, along with a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. A handcrafted cocktail menu plays on fresh fruits, spices and herbs created by Brock Schulte. Providence New American Kitchen serves a full menu daily, along with lunch specials.
Two private dining spaces are available to comfortably seat up to 10 guests or both private dining rooms can open to one larger space to comfortably seat up to 20. All private dining spaces are equipped with A/V capabilities.
